Whippples is an online space where flash fiction stories meet a pop of journalism via light, insightful, expert commentary.
Whippples is also an independent book publishing company.
Hafsa Naz Mahmood, a Marketing, Communications and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) leader of global corporations and seasoned journalist from Chicago’s South Loop, has been making lists of short fiction story ideas of all genres to write and publish via a book. With the digital age taking over the world and technology advancing every second, Hafsa decided to first share her content via a blog. Now her stories can reach global audiences of all ages and are available at everyone’s fingertips.
Hafsa and her son, Ayaan Sheikh, have a series of unique Little Birdies stories to share and are authors of the children’s book Little Birdies Lose their Colors—a story that encourages self-identity, diversity, individuality and eating healthy. These topics can be difficult to approach and discuss. By joining the little birdies on their journey, everyone can talk about important issues openly and honestly. This children’s book simplifies complicated topics and brings everyone back to the basics of peacefully embracing and appreciating each other. This book will be available in December 2020.
All of our stories are short. Real short. Enjoy.
